Ahhhhh, summer! Like many, you probably established a lifelong love of the summer season, which offered the promise of warm days, late nights and lots of fun, when you began elementary school. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Spring market real estate agents have come to love was almost non-existent. As travel was halted, everyone stayed home and the country was on hold in so many ways, the real estate market saw an uncharacteristic drop in activity during March and April. Some markets did see activity begin to pick up in May and June continued that trend.

Increased demand after months of the unknown has buyers making offers quickly, sometimes without seeing the home in person and in many cases, sellers are receiving multiple offers since buyer demand is greater than the available inventory.
